Welcome, and hello! I am Ms. Kim, of Ms. Kim’s candles! My mission is to create and handcraft highly scented candles that look and smell like your favorite desserts.
Making candles is a favorite hobby of mine. Needless to say, it has become a passion since 2005. I got started with candle making when my friends and I went to a craft store one day, to choose fun crafts to do. I tried candle making and soap making.
In the beginning, I made small white candles with peppermint inside. It looked good, and I got hooked! Soon, I learned how to make candles with scent throws, colors, different waxes, flashpoints, and also with more precision.
Knowing all this now, I then made a strawberry strudel pie-shaped candle and gave it to an impressed friend. I thought to myself, "I could do this." Each candle after that was better than the last. Now, it continues to be a favorite hobby of mine.
Longer-Lasting Candles
Every candle is homemade and carefully handcrafted. No factories. My candles are made from gel and paraffin. Gel causes the scent to last longer, whether you light the candle or not. It also burns slower, allowing the candles to last longer than usual.
They Look and Smell Like the Real Thing
My specialties are design candles that look and smell like real home-baked pies, ice cream sundaes, lattes, snow globes, and a variety of other favorite desserts. I also make candles in novelty coffee mugs that come in a variety of scents. These are great for gifts, décor, offices, homes, and anything you can think of!
